Every Martin Avril class is built around a unique combination of theatre, storytelling, live music and original compositions.

Every song has a purpose. Rather than simply teaching vocabulary, my original songs help children remember words naturally through rhythm, movement, theatre and musical games.

Language becomes something they experience with their whole body, not something they are asked to memorise.

For babies and toddlers, classes are shared experiences between the children, their parents, the live musician and the teacher. Together, we create a warm, musical environment where French or Spanish is introduced naturally through play, interaction and connection.

As children grow older, the focus gradually shifts. From the age of three, imagination becomes one of the most powerful learning tools. While my original songs remain at the heart of every class, they become the starting point for theatrical adventures, role play and collaborative storytelling.

These are not traditional lessons.

​

They are creative journeys where children are encouraged to express themselves, make suggestions and shape the adventure alongside me. If today they decide they want to become astronauts, pirates or explore the bottom of the ocean, we go there together. 

​

Instead of asking children to enter my world, I choose to enter theirs.

When children feel understood, respected and free to imagine, language stops feeling like something to learn, it becomes something they naturally live.
